Last Saturday I did a tabletop sale at my Nana's. Unfortunately we lost the pictures of it, but I have attached a closer-up picture of my t shirt and banner that mum made to help publicise my sponsors. The sale was an annual event based in her village, so locals and tourists could buy a map and go round all the houses in the area that were selling. Unfortunately, it was an INCREDIBLY hot day (guess I'll have to get used to that for Peru!) and my Nana's house is tucked away right in the corner of the village so we didn't get very many customers at all. However, those who did come seemed to buy all of the really big, expensive things I had to sell (e.g. dinner set, guitar, paintings) so we actually ended up making quite a lot of money! Overall I managed to make £84, which I am more than pleased with. Car boot sales aren't the easiest way of making money, but I have enough at the moment due to the generosity of my sponsors that I don't need to worry too much.
